Go me, right? Hell yeah. But exactly how did I do it?
This started as an experiment to prove a point and turned into the foundation of my brand.
I didn’t make a sales page
I didn’t spend a dime on ads
I didn’t name the course or aesthetically “design” it
I didn’t write a mission statement or fancy copy
I didn’t leverage an email list or make a marketing funnel
I didn’t plan a professional photoshoot (or even get a manicure)
I didn’t have a payment page (I just had people PayPal me.)
I wrote an outline of what I wanted to teach on a sticky note
I pressed record on my iPhone camera
I talked for 15 minutes (which is actually way too long of a sales video by all marketing “standards”)
I took a screenshot my “payment terms & conditions” from a note on my iPhone, messaged it to each person and had people send payments via PayPal
I sold out all 50 spots (The hardest part of selling out a course is holding the faith that it will in fact — sell out. I recorded the behind the scenes of me shifting my faith constantly to stay in my knowingness that I’d achieve this goal. TRUTH BOMB: This part wasn’t easy. But I showed you all the very really highs, lows and energetic strategies I used to keep shifting. And it did — sell out.)
Every day I was getting DMs from my audience seeing my success and asking:
“What email system do you use?”
”Did you hire a copywriter?”
”Do you run ads?”
”What platform do you use for _____.”
One morning, Jan 2020 I got DM asking another strategy question and I remember thinking, “Don’t they know that none of that shit matters? That’s not the secret?”
So I jumped on my stories and said, “What if I took you guys behind the scenes of my business for 7-days and just showed you exactly what I WAS doing? Would that be helpful?”
I got a TON of yeses.
So I decided to do something kind of extreme to prove the point.
I launched with no sales page, payment page etc. I wrote the terms and conditions in a note on my phone, took a screenshot, sent it in a DM and let them sign up by paypalling me.
No email funnels. No ads. No branding.
Just shared 7 topics I wanted to teach and how I knew it would help my audience and sold it.
I delivered all of the content through a free Facebook group and just went live.
No workbooks at the time (I’ve now added some.)
None of that shit mattered.
Can they be helpful? Sure.
Are they necessary? No!
And that was the shit that was stopping people from running their business the way they WANT to.
After nearly a decade of talking to literally THOUSANDS of people through FB and IG messages I know that what people want is… freedom. Yet most people build themselves right into a self-made prison with how they are trying to grow a business. Prision using strategies that don’t even resonate with their unique skills and interests. (HUGE MISTAKE)

How good would it be if the process got to feel as good - if not better - than the results?
I woke up to a message from my client saying, “When we started working together I had a $6800 month. After just 6-months I’ll have a $69,000 month.”
1000% increases aren’t normal when you use normal business strategy. (PS the majority of that is profit. Also not normal.)
When are we going to realize that the rules are all made up by the people that believed in them most? Most of them aren’t the best rules FOR US.
Her offers didn’t change. She actually did less when she launched.

Ever since I spent 8 years as a network marketer seeing maybe 2-5% of people succeed within the system — I’ve dedicated myself to learning how to teach this at scale. It’s now become what I’m known for.

Don’t get me wrong. There’s nothing wrong with the sales page, compelling copy, funnels, etc. They have a time and a place. (Obviously you’re seeing the evolution of mine right now on this page.) But they are tools.

Opportunity and money come last because if you focus on the inside, the outside follows suit. Naturally.
I hope you at least walk away knowing that anyone who tries to sell you their way or their strategy as “the way" is confused about how the way this world actually works. They are probably secretly wondering why such a small percent of their students actually succeed at implementing. (Or don’t really care as long as the profits keep rolling in.) There are lots of “ways” to achieve your goals. My question to you is, which way do you want to implement and most importantly how do you want that process to feel?
I’m not here to teach you what to do… I’m here to teach you how to think. (FAR MORE VALUABLE.)
Then you can build a plan that aligns so deeply with your energy, skills and desires that no one (I wish you could hear me screaming this at the top of my lungs) could stop you from creating it and birthing it into this world because it will feel so good that you wont want to stop! How’s that sound?
